CrewID is moving to a new platform

Starting in early July, CrewID is migrating to a new platform. The tools you use to manage crew credentialing stay the same. The new platform is faster, more secure, and easier to work in.
What is happening

CrewID is moving to a new platform. This is an upgrade to the product you already use. Your account, your workflows, and your role as an administrator carry over. What changes is the experience: a cleaner interface, faster workflows, and a platform built for performance, scalability, and security.

The migration begins in early July and happens in stages. We move clients in groups rather than all at once, and you will receive your specific migration window in advance.

Logging in during the transition

As we are in the transition, there will be two logins until the migration is fully complete. You will continue to login to your current platform until we let you know that you have been migrated. For all those who have been migrated you will have a new login. This will be reflected in our top navigation starting in July, but you will also be able to access them here.

Your timeline
    • Mid-June onward: Weekly emails and live webinars to prepare you for the move.
    • Early July: Migration begins. Clients move to the new platform in stages.
    • Your window: Communicated to you ahead of time, so you always know when your account moves.
What is new

AI photo tool Every badge photo is analyzed on upload to confirm it meets requirements. Photo rejections drop to genuine edge cases, including religious and disability accommodations.

Automatic background removal Backgrounds are removed automatically, so badge photos come out clean and professional.

Faster workflows A cleaner, easier-to-navigate interface reduces manual work. Adding an employee, uploading a photo, and placing an order happen in one connected flow.

Modern platform Improved performance, scalability, and security, built on infrastructure ready to support ongoing improvements.

Connected to AirTera Credential management now links with the broader AirTera platform, bringing credentials, identity, training, and access control together in one place.

A badge that does more The CrewID badge provides real-time verification of credentials, employment status, and crew roles, available 24/7/365. It supports crew lane access at select locations and eligibility for industry discounts at airports, hotels, and restaurants.

What stays the same
    • Your administrator access and role.
    • The core functionality you rely on to manage crew credentialing and identity verification.
    • The trusted process of adding crew, managing photos, and ordering badges.

The upgrade brings a smoother experience and improved reliability while keeping the functionality you depend on.
