Emergency Communication Awareness
Our Airport Emergency Training is customized with site specific video to align with your emergency plan and prepares employees to assess their work area for evacuation routes while understanding how first responders may act during incidents. The curriculum covers airport and port emergency awareness, active threats, guest experience, communication with first responders, what to do until help arrives, human trafficking awareness, and situational awareness within the Facility Emergency Plan. The training is approximately four hours long and can be delivered in multiple languages.
Hazardous Material Awareness & Recognition
Learn about the different types of hazardous materials and the safety issues surrounding them at an airport.

Human Trafficking Training
Airport Initiative offers an online course (30 minutes) that includes videos and engaging interactive elements, as well as live webinars (90 minutes) with question and answer discussions.
For each airport, they customize the online training module with the airport’s reporting protocol and specific airport contact information. This allows the appropriate airport authorities to quickly respond and intervene for a potential victim while they are still at the airport.

This program provides employees lifesaving and practical knowledge on the various airport response capabilities and procedures which may be encountered in the event of an emergency while working at the airport. Emphasis is placed on what Badge-holders need to know and how they should act in a variety of potential emergency situations. While not all emergencies are covered the procedures referenced are in alignment with National Incident Management Systems (NIMS), Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), and established best practices to protect airport personnel and the traveling public.
